I have known Dave Tutt for about 20 years, first as a domestic customer of his repair service, and then also as a friend. He’s a true electronics guru, full of ideas and never defeated by any of the wide range of problems I’ve thrown at him over the years.
Dave’s kept our television, precious vintage hi-fi, cars, computers and even our breadmaker happy and healthy. He has an amazing knowledge of IT and electronics. It’s been his absorbing interest and work since he was a boy, across many technical areas. He can talk knowledgeably about professional and domestic computers, stage music equipment, audio visual gear, recording technology, and the intricacies of interactive television, whose technical systems he supervised for the BBC for many years.
As well as having excellent technical knowledge and ability, Dave also has a very welcome approach to his work. He considers all aspects of a problem carefully, makes sensible, practical suggestions and takes no longer than the job needs. His prices are very fair, especially in view of his unusually good service.
Keep up the good work, Dave. The Grants need you.

My professional name is Seven String Les - and I front a band called The Blues Mothers.
I spent many years as a solo artiste, and I needed to play in restaurants where there was very little space to set up equipment. Dave Tutt invented a stool for me which housed a loud speaker system to handle my guitar, bass pedals and drum machine. An amplifier hung from the back. He then took it all a step further and supplied me with a combined bass pedal and drum machine. My employers were delighted that they were able to fit another table in the room. (Both of these items are pictured on this website)
Dave has recently completed a special Tuttonater stereo guitar amplifier and speaker for me. (Also pictured)
I often call on Dave for repairs to other electrical items, leads, plumbing, and even furniture. His repairs are immediate and permanent.

The other week I took an old bass amp to Dave that I thought might be just about over the hill, he said to look at is £20 and any more work he has to do to it on top will of course be added on similar to a plumber, he did the work so quick and efficiently I could pick it up the next day, like a lot of people in any business he could have easily taken me for a ride as it was clear I didn't know much about amps but he said it was such a quick fix I only had to pay the standard rate of £20, left extremely happy and content I was impressed further on his knowledge he had to share on any question I had to ask (and there was a lot lol) and he already had the money so he could have just slammed the door in my face :'), but no he didn't skim a detail and went into great depth in the subject of electronics that it's easy to see he is extremely passionate about within 5 minutes of talking to him, 5* Service with 5* Advice,
