Based in the south east in North Kent, Dave has spent most of his life working for various companies in roles based on IT, electronic manufacture, diagnostics and repair, but has also specialised in a number of related subjects from home.

He started work at the age of 14 repairing radios and TV then moved into video and hi-fi as his skills increased and the equipment became more readily available to the public. Some equipment was somewhat unique and required rather more than a dab of solder or a change of valve. Although the designs may have advanced the reliability and serviceability has slipped, much equipment is scrap within its design life.

After learning what he could at school and finding it most unsatisfactory he set out to always educate himself in whatever was necessary to make a living.

Working in a TV repair shop, then an electronic and mechanical manufacturing business sometimes for 80 hours a week and then onto an IT support and repair role in a turn-key software solutions house in London and finally for the BBC whilst at the same time helping where possible to repair AV equipment Dave has certainly been busy.

The aim is to help you achieve your goals with the minimum of fuss at a good price. With documented back-up and help for as long as you need it be it for a commercial requirement or for a private repair, rebuild or custom manufacture.
